Baking Party

1 Aug

This is a brilliant idea from Le Fru Fru

Changing the language allows most of it to be read – some brilliant photography & such lovely ideas! I want to have my own baking party now.

Using bakers twine is a really nice idea – it’s cheap too on ebay – watch out as some shops are selling it for a fortune!Templates like this are available online – google invitation template, or have a look at the programmes you already have. Word have templates – as do pages and mail on a mac.

With some mixing bowls – icing, icing kits and cupcakes you can have  fun baking party.

– make the cakes too if there is time, they don’t take long to cook and little ones can wash hands and tidy up while they are baking.

I love the idea of having names on the hats – this can be as easy as printing sticker letters on some A4 sheets of printable stickers and cutting out.

If you want a take home, invest in some plain aprons – or sew if you can, and add names, or the Baking Party logo / text.

These can be created with regular jam jars topped with pretty fabric, or kilner style jars (available at a couple of £ at Asda and Ikea) and then riboon wrapped with a luggage tag attached detailing the recipe and any additional ingredients used.

I made these a couple of years ago for friends and i know the idea has been passed on!
